nearsie is one front door to Mapsee's shared local discovery service. This domain starts with Things to do; Things, Shops, and Landmarks are different layers of the same map. Fleabop is the shared service's market and Things front door. People can post an item here directly; imported listings keep their original source.
Explore around your location
- In Nearby, open the filter menu and turn on Things. Your saved on/off choice takes precedence. Move the map to the area you want to explore; listings depend on local availability.
- Open a Things pin or search result and check whether the item is For sale, For rent, Free, or For lending. Read its price, condition, description, and approximate location.
- For a locally posted available item, choose Contact seller to ask about availability and arrange details in messages. Conversations are available in People. For an imported item, use View original listing and contact its source.
- To add your own item, choose +, then Thing, and complete Post an item. Use an approximate location and arrange a public meeting place with the other person; keep your listing's status current.
Who supplied this information?
A listing posted directly by its owner is first-party information from that contributor. An Imported listing comes from another source and links back to it; it is not an owner-verified listing. Recheck price and availability with the person or original source.
This is a guide to using the service, not a live inventory or a guarantee of availability. Open Nearby on nearsie for the listings around your location.
